bought these for my 22 month granddaughter........she loves them.....I wondered if they would stand up to her activity level but they were great...she stands on them, crawls on them.....dives into them.......and actually builds with them........ As an Occupational Therapist I definitely recommend these for children !! I have purchased many Lakeshore products and have never been disappointed !!!

Now I know that these are only cardboard but after reading the reviews I was very hopeful that they were sturdy enough to with stand my 2 and 3yr olds. Sadly within 30min 2 of the yellow blocks were crushed by one of my 2yr olds standing on them. I don't think I'll be buying these again.

Kids love to sit on the blocks or walk on the blocks. The blocks are strong with light weight. Kids likes to bring the blocks around the house and build with the blocks.

I played with these when I was in kindergarten 52 years ago and still remember them fondly. Now that I have baby grandchildren, I'm looking forward to watching them do the same.

Both my children and grandchildren loved these blocks. They are very sturdy and lightweight. They do take up some room, (two storage cubes in our eight cube container) But we have had our current set for seven years and they are still one of the favorites.

My kiddos love the blocks. They are sturdy and stay together without issue.

I bought this for my daughter's fourth birthday because I remembered similar big red blocks from my own kindergarten years. It has been her favorite present. She has built towers, beds for her stuffed animals, hurdles, set up a restaurant table and chairs for her dolls, and more. It's a classic toy, great for creative play.

All our kids enjoy these "bricks." We got them for Christmas in 2010 and they still use them about once a week. Building towers, roads, houses, castles. Very strurdy. However, once they are put together - THEY ARE STAYING THAT WAY. So be prepared to devote an entire bookcase to storage. In my opinion it is still worth it, but then again we have 4 kids 7 & under.

I used these at a daycare I worked at and the children who love to build had a great time! They are lightweight so it makes building easy, and they are soft so they don't harm anyone when they fall down.
