Love these castle blocks! They are very solid and colorful and fun for the whole family from a 3-year old on up! The four building examples printed on the box are very appreciated.

My kindergarten class loves these!They are very sturdy and stand up to alot of play.The graphics are really good and they nix well with regular blocks.

These blocks are a great addition to the traditional block sets. My kindergarten class loved these blocks so much I purchased a second set. The graphics have held up well under classroom use.

We are huge fans of Lakeshore Learning and this is the first time we have been disappointed in a product. If you look closely at the picture, the majority of the blocks are half thickness. This means it's like you are building with dominos. They are very unstable, difficult to stack, and tip over very easily. Needless to say this was incredibly frustrating for my 3.5 year old and he quickly tired of playing with them. Maybe he will enjoy them when he is older, but even I got frustrated. It’s a shame because they are so beautiful but they do not function well and blocks is misleading because there are so few actual blocks to build with.

I have 3 grandchildren ages 31/2, 4, and 41/2. They each have a set and often play together and put all of them together to build the most incredible castles. Whenever I am visiting, I always say Do you want to build a castle? To my surprise I always get a Yes. I bought it for one grandchild a year and a half ago. When I returned to buy it for my other 2, I was told there are no more. I was so upset. Recently (a year and a half later), I saw it again in the catalogue and immediately ordered 2 sets. I was so happy to see that it is back again and did not want to miss out this time. I highly recommend it especially as a great holiday gift.

Durable, colorful and great for imaginative minds! Easy to build with. Great for boys and girls. Set of 60 builds nice size castle. We did order an additional set because they were enjoying these blocks so much! Would highly recommend!

I've been searching for years (!) for castle blocks like these! They are colorful, a nice dense "heavy and sturdy" feeling. There are many shapes and sizes which work together - comes with a guidebook of four possibilities for children to make...I laminated it and keep it on the bookcase. I love them so much that I ordered two more boxes for bigger building possibilities! Thank you, Lakeshore!

I just purchased these blocks for the second time so that my granddaughter could build a bigger and better castle!! These blocks are perfect for creating castles, villages, whatever the imagination wants to create. These blocks will last forever!! They are well worth the price!!

I went to my local Lakeshore Store and seen these out where the children can play. They were very high quality and I had to have them for my son. We bought him the Usborne Lift a Flap Castle book and thought these would go perfectly with them. I would not have purchased them online. Seeing them in person is what sold me. They are expensive but I think they are worth it. Very happy.

We enjoy the fact that the blocks are printed yet they are still able to be used creatively with the child's imagination.

Our son enjoys building and rebuilding his castle blocks. They are of great quality and have excellent detailed paintings.
