These are amazing! The children absolutely love them. Well worth the money. My question would be, why an odd number of wheels? Also, why 4 each of the wrench and hammer but no screwdriver?

I worked with preschoolers for over 18 years and this was one of the children's favorite construction sets we had. We purchased 2 sets as it was in such high demand. Perfect for 4-5 year olds.

I love everything about Big Bolt Construction except for the fact that it is difficult to build symmetrical structures. The many of the pieces have odd numbers of holes and because of the shape of the pieces being rounded at the ends it is not possible to put pieces together end to end when building. They are great for fine motor development and creativity. My students love them, they just build without using symmetry. I am often frustrated building with them.

This is hands down the best toy we have ever given our children. We bought the master set for my 3yo son's birthday. Six months later it is still his go-to toy everyday. He uses his imagination and gets so much pleasure from seeing what he creates. The pieces are easy enough for 3yo hands to manipulate without adult intervention. We also have a 5yo son and the boys can play and create together. With so many battery operated toys and screen entertainment available to attract kids, this toy is such a pleasant change and exceeds my expectations for a great quiet time activity. There are ample pieces for two children to explore without running out of parts. I don't write many reviews, but I read them to help me make my purchases. This toy was worth the effort of a review!
