These are a great addition to the Panda Village!

We are excited to use these for our camp day when we explore China. Something different for the children to build with.

This is a nice, well made toy. Just enough pieces to make a nice scene. It comes in a good quality box with a handle to easily store and carry. It does not come with pandas; we bought some separately, which makes it a lot more fun.

We have a five year old grandson staying with us this week. I took him to the Lakeshore Store and let him loose to find what he liked best. He chose these blocks above all others. He knew what he was doing, because when we got home, he played with them for hours setting up the starter kit many different ways. So far he has made docks to use his divers and sea creatures, and made a castle for his knights and archers. Sometimes he just sees how high he can build before they fall. They are light and easy for him to handle on his own and he experiences success. Perfect for age 5. I am a grandparent and a teacher. I will buy these for Taylor's class as a class gift this year!

As a kindergarten teacher I loved the open ended possiblities this resource offers. Using this natural resource connects children with their environment, is sustainable and environmentally friendly. This is a favourite construction material of my classes and is often used in combination with other open ended resources to make meaning of the world around them. The open ended possibilities of this resource encourages imagination, creativity and language. The interest in this resource is sustained and the children often come back to this with ideas of how to extend their play further.

I bought this block set for my 3-year old for Christmas. He loves making houses and towers with them. The variety of blocks provides so many different combinations. We bought the class set and I would recommend it for individual use.

My preschool children love these blocks. It's something new and exciting, different from all the others, my boys especially love the color green! These blocks provide many hours of learning fun and development!

They are sturdy but need to be played with on a flat surface. The only ones that enjoy playing with them are the 4 year olds and up.

I was so excited to get these for my wild animal unit. The main problem is that they are really hard for small children to balance. Older children would have an easier time, but for preschool, it does not work well.

I bought the starter set as a gift for two children and they loved it. Finally purchased a set for my daughter who prefers it to her bristle blocks. Tons of imaginative ways you can use this toy, combine this with a set of small animal figurines and create a jungle or with small people figurines. One caveat you need to use the toy on a hard surface to keep the bamboo blocks from falling over.
