I use this in conjunction with the colored tape. It's the best solution I've found for preschoolers to use tape independently. So far, no one has successfully tried to unscrew the rods. This is a permanent fixture in my art center.

Bought this for my 6 year old granddaughter's birthday. She's into a lot of scotch tape so now she's really having fun being creative with the colored rolls of tape. And it's all on one spool caddy so mom doesn't have to worry about them ending up somewhere else!!

We gave this to our 9 and 7 year olds for Christmas. It has been a hit so far! They have created signs and amazing artworks with the colorful tape. It is a sturdy, well-made dispenser. Tape "cuts" well and it easy to turn. It has been a great buy thus far!

That is awesome when you want your kids to make open ended craft material. I use to leave in on my shelf and my son used it many times to makes 2D or 3D crafts. His creativity had no limits. It would have been nice if it had dividers to keep each colored tape apart from the others. Some may like it exactly this way. :)
