This modeling clay was great for my pre-K class. It was more than enough for my 18 students to complete their projects. It was pliable, but enough to really work on their fine motor skills.

The texture on this clay is very hard, which did not necessarily deter my children (ages 4 and 5) from playing with it for over an hour. My issue, however, is the residue left on hands and furniture. It took me over 20 minutes of scrubbing our work surface before I got *most* of the residue off. We have only used the product once and will not be doing so again. Luckily, Lakeshore is awesome and I was able to return this item without issue.

IT'S AWFUL HARD AS A ROCK. I HOPE THIS WAS A BAD BATCH AND YOU MAKE GOOD WITH SOFT CLAY.

My son was so excited but he and my husband both had difficulty manipulating it. 1st gift of Christmas for the trash can. Save your $$ and skip this one.

I bought this for a geography lesson and it worked well. Clay is a easy for students to work with.

My oldest loves this clay. He loves to make the numberblocks, planets, alphablocks and more.

I love that this clay doesn’t harden, but it works best for elementary school students because it’s a little too hard for preschoolers to shape with their hands.

We got this for my son who has several food allergies and it’s safe. But for little kids it can be tough to manipulate because it’s pretty hard.

Super awesome and super fun to build with.

Don’t buy. It’s super hard and stains hands and anything that comes into contact with it. I had to throw the entire bucket away.
