These were great for helping develop one to one counting. They are the perfect size. Only -draw back- was that my daughter had high expectations on herself of matching the shapes before she had the fine motor skills to do that a well as she wanted to.

I love these mats. They have varied pictures and shapes. They are also good quality and hold up well.

Good for kindergarten

My son loves playing with Lakeshore Dough. These mats have been a hit with him, however they do take him a long time to do since he is a perfectionist and wants to completely fill in the dotted areas. The mats are a great way to show the correlation between the number and how many individual items equals the number.

These mats have done a wonderful job of helping my 18 month grand-daughter focus on learning numbers 1-20. Small children can be easily distracted when trying to teach them new skills. I've found the photos and little objects aligning with the number on each mat are nice attention-getters which help promote counting skills. Though, we sometimes use them with play dough, we also use them without it!

My preschool class really liked these mats. They are very sturdy and engaging. They saved me from printing and laminating.

These play dough mats are so cool to foster learning in early mathematics! The late are high quality and you can’t beat the price! I like to make my own materials but when I looked at making my own, the printing and laminating alone was way more than purchasing these lovely mats! I expect high levels of engagement as a math center in my kindergarten class this year!

I had one of my student’s family buy this resource off of my registry for this school year. It was awesome! I teach kindergarten and was able to use this as a math/fine motor skill center. The students were always engaged with this activity. Allowed for the students to work independently as well. Highly recommend!

These are my favorite from the whole dough mat collection. My kids love making play dough balls and filling in the designated spots on each mat. Each mat has a cool design too!
