I purchased these mats along with the Lakeshore dough (sold separately). These mats can be used with or without the dough. Children can trace the letter with their finger or use the dough to shape the letters.

I delight in the students painting but it can be messy. Now they can enjoy painting and I don't have to concern my self with spills. I also purchased the matching paint brushes.

These mats are brightly colored, have really pretty pictures of two things that start with that letter, and have caught the attention of my pre-k kids! The mats come lightly laminated, but I admit I laminated them anyway for extra protection and support. The letters are large and make it easy for my kids to peel, clump, roll, or smush playdoh into the proper shape! I'm quite happy with this addition to my classroom!

My students love the hands on way to practice and build the dough letters. The tactile building helps with retaining the letter. While practicing I have the build the letter like it is formed and tell me the sound the letter makes.

Absolutely love those mats! I bought 4 sets for my class and that will be perfect for my centers.

Love to use these for my students fine motor skills and also learning the alphabet.

These are very nice, but remember NO Playdough comes with it. Not a deal breaker, but we ignored reading the description, and had to order it after we had gotten it.

These mats are so cute and colorful and my students are engaged while using them. They are made from thick material that is sure to last.
