I loved how this set has up to the number 20 on each piece and the children did not have to move different numbers to create a new number. My preschool curriculum has the students counting and recognizing number to 20. This was another way to continue to support this benchmark and the students enjoyed this. Great for fine motor as well!
Fun for Hands-On learning
These rubbing plates are great for little hands - students can trace the numbers and count the items with their finger or use it as a rubbing plate to make replica of the number - my students thought they were super fun!
Perfect for anytime learning!
This is an easy to use with little instruction. Supervision that a child can enjoy time and time again. Its a sturdy, well-made set that encourages self-motivation, FM skills, math concepts. pride in success such as happens with repeatedly accomplishing puzzles.

fun
I agree w/ others, it needs some sort of rubber backing to hold them in place for kids. They move around under the paper, making it hard for younger children to make the rub appear. Other than that, they are very fun & all my kids, 3, 5 & 7 enjoy them every day! It helps w/ their number recognition & way the numbers are written.
Great for Little Ones!
Purchased for my grandsons to practice writing and counting. They love to color so I thought these would be perfect for them.
Difficult to use
My pre-k kids had a hard time keeping the plates from moving. I tried putting them on felt, which helped. But even I found it a little difficult to keep them still. They need little rubber feet on the back of them, or something like that.

A fun introduction to numbers
When my daughter was 2 years old, she loved coloring inside stencils to be included in our home school. She would have loved this fun set to color and actually create pictures and numbers beyond her fine motor coordination abilities. Highly motivational. My only suggestion is that there should be a tray that the rubbing plates can be put into that keeps the one being used from moving around, since it is hard for young children to make things stay put while they color.

Great for visual learners!!
I use these and the abc plates everyday. They are perfect for leaving on your open shelves in your preschool classroom for your "fast finishers".
