The crayon colors are vibrant and work as well as another very well-known brand but I am giving these crayons 3 stars for the paper wrapped around them. After a crayon tip wears down, I peel off some of the paper to sharpen it. Unfortunately the paper on this brand is not very well wrapped around the crayon so sometimes the entire paper peels off the crayon as I am trying to tear off just a bit off the top of it. I am sorry to be picky and I feel bad even typing this since I usually absolutely love Lakeshore quality but I am just trying to give my honest opinion.
