I'm not sure if these are much different from the big name brand crayon. My first disappointment was, because they were not properly wrapped in the shipping box (that also had larger, heavier items), a couple already had their point/heads sheered off, and the box a bit crunched. They seemed smooth enough going across paper, with decent color saturation. I find them to be of average thick-crayon strength--they stayed intact when coloring, but still cracked in various places when dropped or thrown (by toddler). I'll probably buy again, as they'll likely need placing soon (can't give a toddler small broken bits), and I'm not sure if I'd find anything else better.

These are great for my 1 year old because they don't break very easily

I like the size and quality of these better for little ones than other brand’s jumbo crayons. These are an amazing buy. Lakeshore has amazing quality art supplies and I will be buying more as needed.

Very happy with this purchase. Bought two packs online not knowing what the quality would be like, the size and thickness turned out to be just what my 2 1/2 and 4 year old grandsons can use. Will definitely purchase again.

Great size and presure for little hands

These are great for my 21 month old. My three year old will sometimes ask for - regular crayons, but it does seem like these jumbo crayons are easier to manage.

Order with three items arrived on time however crayons were not packed well. Jumbo Crayon box top was open with four tips of crayons broken off and rolling around bottom of shipping box. Called customer service. With no hesitation, staff stated crayons would be replaced and he would send note to shipping to pad crayon box more carefully. Replacement crayons arrived securely intact wrapped in bubble wrap in time for birthday. Very grateful Lakeshore excels at customer service. Three year old granddaughter loved her new box of colors. Easy for little hands to hold.

I love these crayons. They are hard to break and easy to draw with. Will buy them again!
