My niece really liked it. The instructions are quite simple, but I recommend opening the video using the qr code in the instructions. The toy turns out to be very cute.

This has been such a fun little project for me and my 6 year old daughter! Simple enough for her to do mostly (with my help), but also takes a bit of time and doesn't feel like a waste of money. There's online / YouTube videos to help with the steps, if needed. We loved it!

Our granddaughter, who enjoys crafts, will have fun with this cute and easy to sew project.

I purchased this for my daughters birthday. She absolutley loves it! It is simple, easy to use and we'll made.

While I love the quality materials- as always with Lakeshore- the directions leave a lot to be desired. The instructions offered very little help/direction and my six year old could not have done this without nearly constant adult help! She was able to do some of the stitching herself-once we showed her what to do. Grandma is a very experienced seamstress and also felt the instructions were not helpful at all. I would recommend some cross stitch or sewing experience with these.

This is a nice activity for 6 years old, you as a parent can have your kid enterteined in a educational, fun and quiet activity ;)

This kit is super cute and sewing the actual llama is easy enough because of the punched in holes around the outside. The difficult part is stitching the eyes, nose, and mouth, as these are unique stitches. We have not made it yet, but I'm expecting adult help will be needed for an 8 year old.

This toy is a great introduction to learning to sew. We had so much fun that the child now wants a sewing machine. Give them the love of sewing!

My daughter loved hers so much, we went back and got the others ... such a different gift that lets them uses there creativity.

I bought two of these kits. A llama for my 10 year old grandson and penguin for his little sister. I wasn’t sure he would be interested in making it, but once he saw his sister making the penguin, he was excited to start his llama. The llama is super cute and quite detailed with it’s colorful floss blanket. Precut holes, safe plastic needle and simple instructions made this a fun project that a 10 year old can do with very little guidance.

This is a fun, cute project. My 6 year old son loved it, especially the different types of stitches it taught.
