The grands think this is a lot of fun to create on. You get a lot, so it would be great in a classroom to put in the children’s storybooks and teach them how to use a bookmark! They give you a stick for each one, but you could add wider sticks to scratch larger lines too.

I used these with both kindergarten and fifth grade students. I had them write their names backwards on the scratch bookmarks to help them create something that was unique to them; they ABSOLUTELY enjoyed the project!!! The colors are nice too :)

My students love these DIY bookmarks. This one is fun because they can decorate it any way the choose. Great for gifts or any time a student needs a bookmark.

I really wanted these to be perfect for a little followup activity following a book with a rainbow theme for Kindergarten aged children. Unfortunately, too much effort is needed for the wooden scratch tool to create design/ drawing etc. I knew if I had to press so hard, a 5 year old would have even more trouble. It wasn't impossible, just not as smooth, easy as other rainbow scratch paper I’ve tried.

I gave these out in goodie bags and all the kids I gave it out to were so happy!
