The clay charms Are completely adorable. My daughter is six and my son is nine. They had a little trouble doing it by themselves, so we helped them. The charms came out so adorable. This toy was a hit.

My granddaughter saw this is the catalog... and was excited to get it for Xmas.. she is in second grade and was the perfect activity for her age showed her just one time on how to do it and she was on her way to making some fun jewelry

Got this kit for my 9 year old daughter. My daughter along with the entire family has enjoyed making charms for her bracelet. The booklet is very good at showing how to make various charms. Nobody expects them to look exactly like the pictures because we all add our own creativity to each charm. My daughter is pretty experienced in the kitchen so she can bake them, but an adult helps her for safety. The charms attached to the bracelet with a simple metal link. There has been enough clay in the kit to make 40 plus charms, depending upon the size of the charm. This kit would be great for a group of kids to each make a charm and attach them to individual necklaces. My daughter would have loved this when she was 7 or 8 years old, as well as now. In the past I have purchased some from book fairs and can say that this kit blows them out of the water for the price and amount of material that you get in it. The only downside I see to the kit, is that you can not order a refill kit. The upside to this, is that the kit is so affordable, you can just order a second kit once you use up the first one. The pieces of metal that hold the charms onto the bracelet are a little weak for me, they would be fine if the bracelet is only worn around the house, but my daughter will wear hers to school. I will just pick up something a little stronger at a craft store.

My 5 yr old granddaughter loves making beaded bracelets so I got this set for her. It was easy to use and she loves it.

Cute craft. My daughter got this for her 7th birthday. The included guide helps, but doesnt prepare you for the real end product. But the charms are still cute since they look more authentic.
