The spinner is beautiful and seems like it would be quite durable. However, the resistance remains rather high - ie, an adult is not able to generate much momentum. When you press a marker or pencil on the spinning paper, the spinner markedly slows.

I thought this looked great. I saw the picture of the child drawing and assumed it was a motorized spinner. It’s not and it’s about impossible to spin it and draw at the same time—the bearings are worthless. I didn’t read the description carefully enough. I did read the part about the strong magnet. It is not strong and can’t hold the paper in place with the spinning action. I would not recommend this unless you want an exercise in frustration!

I was very excited to see you had brought it back into your inventory. It is easy to use but lived by all ages between kindergarten and 5thgrade. I have used it in a school classroom with inside recess , in my home with my own kids, and in childcare settings at my church. Both males and females like to produce colorful art. Markers are cheap and when you run out of paper, paper plates can be substituted.
