I sent this to one of my first graders as a prize and she commented that its kind of hard. So maybe not age appropriate for 7 yr olds?

First - Lakeshore Learning is an amazing company!! I have ordered many things from them and always receive the order in a timely fashion. If I ever had to return anything it is very, very easily done. I have found their prices on occasion to be even better than other much larger shipping companies. As for this product, it took our 'grand' a little time to get how do the craft, once she 'got it' she really enjoyed it - and is very proud of her owl. I would highly recommend this product.
