My girls enjoyed the sewing kits. My 7 year old daughter did need help from me with some of the parts. She would get the yarn twisted at times. Overall she thought the images were cute and had fun. I always think directions could be a little easier to follow for younger kids.

I run a Middle School craft club and this is perfectly set up for each of the kids know exactly what they’re doing because the pieces are already in place with the holes punched out and the yarn are together and so are the needles but this is way less than most of our projects!

My child (older seven years old) enjoys the woodland animal packets with all the pre-cut felt pieces, and I enjoy that it is ready to go for a plug and play experience. The fold-out instructions allow an early reader to follow along step by step. The thread feeds through the extra-large eye easily with the included threader. It's worth noting the tip is blunt, minimizing poked fingers. The carrying case was a bonus for me and served as storage for unfinished projects and supplies.
