I work with 3-5 yr olds. This is by far our most popular trike. The smaller kids are unable to pedal it, but usually there are a couple of the 4 yr olds that can use it, and by mid year we always have teams working on this bike. Not every child will be able to use it, developmentally some never get the size or strength to use it during Pre-K, but I have never had a year that several of my students weren't using it by mid year and loving it.

My students are 3-5 years old. None of the 62 are capable of pedaling with a friend on the back seat. It should definitely be advertised for kindergarten and up.

For such an expensive tricycle a lot of the key components for durability are missing. The front wheel is welded with small welds where the front wheel meets the front axle and is very prone to breaking the front wheel assembly attachment is done with plastic and it’s not very sturdy. I’m a little disappointed with something in this price range. The rest of the frame and components are very good.

This is our second Lakeshore Taxi-Trike, the kids were always racing to get to the taxi-bike first and waiting turns for it so we decided to get another one! So much fun, they love that they can bike with their friend! These trikes are high quality, they will last you years and years. We keep ours in our indoor gym space and we still have some from over 10 years ago! I cannot recommend this item enough, especially for a preschool with lots of children using these items daily, you need a quality trike like this that will withstand high usage.

Bike is very sterdy. Hard to peddle for children under the age of 4. But as a teacher, it is fun to ride your children around!

The kids absolutely love this taxi, we are definitely going to have to buy another one!!!

Absolutely a great choice the kids love being able to ride together.

I bought this taxi trike about 6 years ago and it is by far the favorite at childcare. The older kids can give the younger ones a ride or 2 older can ride on it. It is made so sturdy and nice for me to know I won't need to replace it for along time. If they go to fast and turn to sharp it could tip,but they know enough to slow down on the corners. The only problem is they all want it. I am thinking about getting another one. Very well built so thank you!

We love this trike! Perfect for children who want to play bikes together. Very durable, I can tell this was a worthwhile investment for our program and will be around for years to come. Worth the extra cost compared to the big box stores. Works best on hard surfaces, like concrete. Challenging to peddle on the grass or foam mats. Being this trike is long to accommodate two children it also needs more space for turning around.

This is a nice taxi trike, however I wish it had a bar for the back seat rider to hold on to. Or maybe a higher seat for front rider so back rider can hold on to the back of the seat.

Our kids love this product! The children enjoy carting each other around and giving rides. The toy is large enough to comfortable fit 2 children or a staff member and child!
