Our kids love these scooters!!

I just received this and had the kids try it out today. At first they were excited to see we had a new riding toy. Each wanted to try it first. I demonstrated they needed to put their foot in the back to push, not the side. They started out that way, but out of habit put their foot more to the side and bumped their foot on the wheel, then got off and said, I'm done. Each only tried it for a few pushes is all, and then decided to play elsewhere. However, one child who does not have a conventional scooter at home tried it and stayed on a bit longer. I can come back and change the review if the kids try it again and get used to it and decide they like it, but for now, they are not at all interested. After everyone tried it, it sat the rest of the outdoor time all alone.

My husband and I are very pleased with this scooter. It is very sturdy and has not tipped over once during some fast and furious turns. Our three year old received this as a gift and, apparently, he was hoping for a scooter with only two wheels, however, we chose a much safer option with three wheels. After riding it for a day or two he never mentioned the scooter he had previously envisioned again. He appears to be very happy with this scooter now. I must admit I was a bit reluctant to pay such a high price for a child's scooter, but we have a second child that will use it, and the ones in the toy store we examined did not seem very well made. It seems to be of great quality so far, and we like the 5 year guarantee as well.
