I must admit, I enjoy playing this as much as the kids. We homeschool and this is a great way to get the kids moving outside during breaks while building hand eye coordination. Love that they can play solo as well.
I was looking for a tetherball tennis set for my kids (since they are popular in the UK). Searching online, I found ones that were either too expensive (over $100) or cheaply made. Then I stumbled upon this set from Lakeshore. It is awesome! Not only is it solidly built with actual metal pieces, but it includes two quality paddles and a spare ball. It also has two ways that you can make the ball spin (i.e., on the spiral or free spin at the top). It's a great value overall!

I bought this for a gift for my Grands - ages 10, 8, and 6. They and the neighbors have LOVED playing it. Now six months later after much playing time, the ball came off the rope. My only complaint is that the company does not sell individual replacement balls and rope. Other than that, I have been very pleased with the product!!
It’s great. We had a lot of fun with it, but unfortunately, the string broke off with only a few uses. We tried tying it in the middle where it broke off, but ended up, making it too short and didn’t last. It still came apart. Wish there was a replacement instead of having to buy the whole thing again.
This product is amazing, it is perfect for outdoor play for pre-k!

Tennis ball and string lasted less than 4 months before breaking with only light occasional use. Was fun while it lasted, but that wasn't long.
really fun to play with

My kids are 8 and 4 and really enjoy playing with this. They got it for Christmas. Iwould buy it as a gift for other familymembers too.

This was a gift for my 6 year old for Christmas and the whole family has loved playing. A much better alternative to the volleyball tetherball. The base will need to be fulled fully in order for it not to tip/wobble while the ball is being hit.
