Fun and Active

September 05, 2025 - By MG

I must admit, I enjoy playing this as much as the kids. We homeschool and this is a great way to get the kids moving outside during breaks while building hand eye coordination. Love that they can play solo as well.

Great quality set

July 13, 2025 - By Ernest S.from Aliso Viejo, CA

I was looking for a tetherball tennis set for my kids (since they are popular in the UK). Searching online, I found ones that were either too expensive (over $100) or cheaply made. Then I stumbled upon this set from Lakeshore. It is awesome! Not only is it solidly built with actual metal pieces, but it includes two quality paddles and a spare ball. It also has two ways that you can make the ball spin (i.e., on the spiral or free spin at the top). It's a great value overall!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Wish Replacement Balls and Rope Were Available

June 27, 2025 - By NSfrom North Carolina

I bought this for a gift for my Grands - ages 10, 8, and 6. They and the neighbors have LOVED playing it. Now six months later after much playing time, the ball came off the rope. My only complaint is that the company does not sell individual replacement balls and rope. Other than that, I have been very pleased with the product!!

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Fun for the whole family

May 16, 2025 - By Jean Strangefrom Southern Pines NC

It’s great. We had a lot of fun with it, but unfortunately, the string broke off with only a few uses. We tried tying it in the middle where it broke off, but ended up, making it too short and didn’t last. It still came apart. Wish there was a replacement instead of having to buy the whole thing again.

Didn't last

May 09, 2025 - By Julia

Tennis ball and string lasted less than 4 months before breaking with only light occasional use. Was fun while it lasted, but that wasn't long.

string may need replacing

December 11, 2024 - By Jessie

This is a super fun active toy for a wide range of ages. The only issue we ran into is that the string holding the ball wore through wirhin a year, but it is easy to replace.

Tetherball tennis has been a blast for three generations! The only reason I did not give it a 5-star rating is that these tend to only last one year. (But non of the portable ones last long). That could be because the grandkids play with it constantly! Still highly recommend this for a great outdoor activity for one or two players. The rackets are super sturdy.

Broke so fast!

July 20, 2024 - By Karen Bondfrom Prescott, AZ

The concept is wonderful, the quality not so much. I've gone through 3 of these now, each lasting just 2 weeks or so.

Yes, I would recommend this product.

Tetherball needs replacement parts

May 23, 2024 - By Cheryl Nielsenfrom Arizona

My 4 year old grandson absolutely loves this, however, it didn't take long before the ball/string broke. I've looked for replacements and found some that were not any better. manufacturer should offer replacement parts for purchase when this is purchased. Shame, since it is good for hand/eye coordination development as well as good exercise. Paddles included are very sturdy, too bad ball/tether is not.

Yes, I would recommend this product.
