All the fun of a traditional balance beam…but with fascinating curves and gradual height changes that provide an extra challenge! Our balance beam consists of 8 textured, nonskid pieces that sit a low 4 1/4" off the ground…all with a gently rolling, curved design that helps children develop coordination, balance, muscle control and more. Plus, the rugged plastic pieces easily slot together in a variety of combinations—from a winding walkway to a circular path—so you can create a new design every time. The pieces even stack for easy storage! Each piece measures 26" in length.

Great addition to our gym

Now that the rain has settled in here in Washington this walk-the-wave balance beam was the perfect addition to our gym stash! A bit more exciting than the plain balance beam and our kids love how it can connect into a circle. Only lost 1 star because it is difficult to connect the pieces, our 4 year old's can't do it themselves and to be honest it even takes me a few extra minutes to get the pieces connected. Other than that we love it and are so happy with this purchase. Very durable and expect it to last for years to come.

Excellent for an obstacle course.

My grandsons age 2 and 4 have loved using these segments to create an indoor obstacle course for rainy day fun. My daughter in law was grateful the diversion and the compact stack for storage. A win all around.

This wave balance beam is an exceptional addition to both our inside gym as well as our outdoor play area. While some of our 4 year olds are extremely physical, this balance beam with the gripper style surface is extremely safe and just the right length to work toward improving balance. Easy to pop together as well as stacks to store in very little space.

Perfect for those cold winter days!

The Walk-The-Wave Balance Beam is great to use in the classroom when we are unable to go outside for recess. It is easy enough for my preschoolers to set up and put away by themselves. They love to take off their shoes and walk along the balance beam in their socks. Sometimes they get really brave and try it backwards!!
