It's a fun parachute but larger than I expected. I should have ordered one size down. You really need a lot of kids to have this work and a ton of open space

The children really enjoy this and it is a very fun activity to do with them.

Fun to play with for my 2 year old, but she quickly outgrew the 6' size. I should have gotten the larger size!

My son loves using this to play parachute as well as picnic and also fort making. Plus nice bag to fold up and store.

I purchased this parachute as a preschool teacher. I have found many games to use this for and it is a great size for our class of 8 kids plus me. We have used it to sit on for picnics too! The handles are tough and the material has held up like new for the the 6 months I have had it so far, expecting it to go for many many for years. The bag is very useful for storing it and it is easy to fold up and put in bag with little effort, the kids can put it away all by themselves. I highly recommend this parachute.

Great addition to our afternoon movement break. Children love trying different games and working as a team.

The Rainbow School Parachutes is Excellent. We have the 6 foot version. It’s perfect for whooshing up in the air for a child to run under, pretending soft balls bouncing on top are popcorn, and many more games. It works great for 3 to 6 players holding 1 or 2 handles and can even be used indoors because of its small size. I’m thrilled the quality is still great. I bought a huge one years ago and used it intergenerationly with elders and preschooler, and at school fun events with both elementary and middle school groups,and it’s held up perfectly.

This is a great outside group activity that can be coupled with Lakeshore balls for a great outdoor group fun

We bought both the 6' and 12 parachutes to use outdoors for a family birthday. It was a huge success. Ages one and four loved riding on the parachute, being under it and popping popcorn with it! Just place plastic balls on top of the parachute and pop up it up to send the balls up high.

Awesome gift for kids age 4 and up. Six kids played with it in the basement as it was a freezing day. Very good quality and I think will last a long time.

This 12 ft. parachute is for my daughter's preschool class of 2s and 3s. It was an alternative to contributing to holiday treats I spoke to the classroom teacher about. I like the idea of having a dedicated parachute for the class to enjoy during COVID. I like the quality of this parachute since the handles are well secured and this is a common failure point for a parachute. The handles are double stitched into the parachute circumference seam, as well as reinforced with an additional thick stitch that goes through the polyester handle twice and the nylon parachute twice. The parachute material is rip stop nylon taffeta. (I didn't find this information in the product description.)

I am impressed by the high quality of Lakeshore Learning items, this parachute included. When I purchased this, I was imagining playing with it with all of the neighbor children in our apartment complex. But due to covid-19, my husband and I play with it with our three-year-old on our own. Our son still loves it, even though it'd be more fun with more kids. He likes to run underneath, make waves, and bounce balls on top. It's well-made and I'm sure it'll still be in great condition when we can finally get together with other kids!
