My niece's son is thirteen. He usually doesn't smile - but even kids this age love to see how their designs come out. It's never the same. I bought my niece's son paints so he could continue to make designs when the first set was used up! Lakeshore sells extra paints for this reason. Many ages of children can have fun making designs. I've even made a design or two myself.

This is something I feel like everyone can always play no matter how old. Prices have gone up but still reasonable so but I'm back to buy another for my other child.

Tried refilling the little bottles myself with diluted kids paint. It worked great but took forever and was kind of a pain. We got this refill which was obviously easier, but I wish there was more paper included. My kids like the large size better than the small, so it would be nice to have more of the large paper included. Foe thebprice, which is pretty reasonable, we'd love to have just a bit more of the large paper.
