I got this and the multiplication cards to help my kids with their multiplication facts when they were struggling. My daughter really liked the hands on approach versus just practicing simple flashcards. It works well and we have no complaints.

Works well will math teaching material

We homeschool so this is a great independent activity while I'm working with my other kids.

My son was very excited about this pen because of the noises. However, it is never consistent. Out of 10 times selecting the right answer, it will mark it wrong 8 or 9 times. Yes, the batteries are in correct and brand new. Yes, we're holding it straight up. Yes, we're pressing in the center of the oval. I don't know many kids who need this that could follow all the strict parameters for this thing to have a chance at working.

My grandchildren are really enjoying the challenge of practicing with these cards. Getting immediate feedback from the pen encourages them to keep trying to improve their skills.

This will be great for hands on learning for my grandson who likes learning,makes him feel more in control

Both of my homeschooled kids have used the Power Pen to strengthen their recall on number facts. An excellent teaching supplement.

The power pen series which includes this pen and other materials (sold separately) such as multiplication cards, reading comprehension cards, addition cards, reading skill cards and more is excellent for interactive learning for all ages. My children who are 5,8, 9 and 12 years old, all use it and feel motivated to continue practicing. As a parent it fills me with joy when my kids smile because they got the answer right. The power pen lights up green when the answer is correct and makes sounds that can be adjusted to let them know they got the answer right. If they get it wrong it lights up red, which motivates them to try harder to get the answer correct.

Th power pens are great to use with the math packs and the phonics packs. My 2nd grade students really enjoy using these and are able to use them independently.

Pen doesn’t work

My grand daughter has made progress with her math facts using this wand. It’s fun to use too.

Awesome pen for learning. I love how many different sets there are that you can purchase. The back was very hard to unscrew.
