I have used magnetic shelves like this before, but these are the best I've come across. They are deep enough that you won't have to worry about books falling off and they stay secure to the board.

i have two sets of these shelves. i bough the forst set 6years ago, and use it every day. once i added more books to our seasonal/holiday collection, i knew i needed more! they sometimes fall down if the weight is disproportionately, but they are super sturdy!

I love these magnetic bookshelves! They help my 4th graders improve transitions. I display the workbook above the directions on the board. They are also great for collecting materials like rulers or magnifying glasses on their way past the dry erase board.

These shelves are heavy duty, top quality with a very large, strong magnet on the back. I suggest verifying that the dimensions are appropriate for what you plan to use them for. Don't have a plan? I didn't, but I am finding all sorts of ways to put these into use. They coordinate well with some of the other Lakeshore blue items like the seat sacks and brighten my classroom beautifully. Kiddos love to see the various ways I use them and they enjoy coming into my classroom a la Lakeshore!

These are nice magnetic shelves. I just wish they came in different lengths and colors. One size does not fit all.
