You must have cookies turned on in order to purchase online at LakeshoreLearning.com.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically, but some browsers have cookies turned off by default. This page is designed to help you identify your browser type and version, then turn on your cookies so that you can use all of our websites features. What are cookies?

Cookies are small strings of letters and numbers that a web page asks your browser to store. Lakeshore and many other Internet merchants use cookies to help keep track of the items in your shopping cart. This information is stored until you send in your order and poses no security or privacy risk to you. They simply help us fetch the products you have selected and allow us to place them on your order form when you click on the shopping cart/purchase icon. (Learn more about privacy and security.)

Step 1 - Identify your browser type and version number

    To identify your browser type and version number in Windows:

  • Go to the Help menu at the top of your browser.
  • Click on About.
  • The window that appears will tell you your browser name and version (e.g., Internet Explorer 5.0).
  • Click on the OK button at the bottom of the window, then go to Step 2.

To identify your browser type and version number in Mac OS:

  • Go to the browsers menu in the upper-left corner, next to the Apple menu.
  • Click on About (Safari, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) at the top of the drop-down menu.
  • The window that appears will tell you your browser name and version (e.g., Safari 2.0).
  • Close the window, then go to Step 2.

Step 2 - Turn on your cookies from your desktop computer

Internet Explorer

    Enabling Cookies in Internet Explorer 6 & 7

  • From Internet Explorer, go to Tools in the upper-left corner of the browser.
  • Select Internet Options from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the Privacy Tab.
  • Click on the Sites button.
  • In the Address of Website box that appears, type: www.lakeshorelearning.com.
  • Click the Allow button.
  • Click the OK button. The window will close, and you will be back at the Privacy Tab window.
  • Click the OK button. The window will close and take you back to the browser.
  • Return to www.lakeshorelearning.com, and you’re ready to shop!

Firefox

    Enabling Cookies in Firefox

  • From Firefox, click on Tools.
  • Select Options from the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the Privacy icon.
  • Click on Exceptions.
  • In the Address of Website box that appears, type: www.lakeshorelearning.com.
  • Click the Enable button.
  • Click the Close button.
  • Click the OK button. The window will close and take you back to the browser.
  • Return to www.lakeshorelearning.com, and you’re ready to shop!

    Enabling Cookies in Firefox (Mac)

  • From the Firefox menu, select Preferences.
  • Click on the Privacy icon.
  • Under Cookies, check the Accept cookies from sites box.
  • Close the Preferences window.
  • Return to www.lakeshorelearning.com, and you’re ready to shop!

Safari

    Enabling Cookies in Safari

  • From the Safari menu, select Preferences.
  • Click on the Security icon.
  • Under Accept Cookies, select either always or only sites you navigate to.
  • Close the window.
  • Return to www.lakeshorelearning.com, and you’re ready to shop!

Step 2 - Turn on your cookies from your mobile devices

iOS - iPhone and iPad

  • From your home screen, go to Settings > Safari.
  • Set Block Cookies to Always Allow.
  • Launch the Safari browser to enable the cookies.
  • Return to www.lakeshorelearning.com, and you’re ready to shop!

Android

    Enabling cookies using the Android web browser

  • Open the Browser.
  • Go to Menu > Settings > Privacy & security.
  • Or, go to Menu > More > Settings and find Privacy settings.
  • Make sure Accept Cookies is checked or switched On.
  • Refresh the browser to enable the cookies.
  • Return to www.lakeshorelearning.com, and you’re ready to shop!

    Enabling cookies using Chrome for Android

  • Open Chrome.
  • From the web browser menu select Settings > Site settings > Cookies.
  • You’ll find the web browser menu in the top-right corner.
  • Refresh the Chrome browser to enable the cookies.
  • Return to www.lakeshorelearning.com, and you’re ready to shop!

Internet Explorer for Windows Phone

  • Open Internet Explorer.
  • Go to Menu > Settings.
  • Make sure that Allow cookies on my phone is checked.
  • Refresh the browser to enable the cookies.
  • Return to www.lakeshorelearning.com, and you’re ready to shop!
