Phonemic Awareness Activity Kits
Our activity kits use easy-to-recognize pictures to introduce phonics sounds…so kids can build language skills even if they’re not yet reading or writing! To begin each activity, just slip a starter strip into the pocket chart we’ve included; each strip shows a kid-friendly picture, followed by 3 blank spaces. Then, kids just fill in the blank spaces with our picture cards—and create a series of rhyming sounds, like “cake-snake-lake-rake”…match words with the same initial sound, like “heart-house-horse-hamburger”…and much more! Each kit focuses on a different phonics skill, and each includes a 12" x 17" nylon pocket chart, 15-20 illustrated starter strips and 45-60 illustrated answer cards. Available individually or as a set. Chart stand is sold separately.
