How do animals change throughout their life cycle? What are the roles of the parts of a plant? This workshop shows you how to make scientific concepts accessible to children and weave them across your curriculum as you create life cycle sequencing cards, play active learning games, sing nature-themed songs, use seeds to bring art projects to life and much more!
2/19 - Wild Animals: Exploring Kids’ Favorite Creatures 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The animal kingdom is wonderfully diverse, providing endless opportunities for learning! Join us as we explore ways to use a wild animal theme to captivate children’s interest and help them discover how their favorite critters can help them count, graph, sort, build observational skills and so much more!
3/19 - Learning Through Art—Across the Curriculum 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Children love getting creative, so why not incorporate arts & crafts projects into every area of the curriculum! This hands-on workshop will show you simple, artistic ways for children to build basic skills such as using clay & dough to master letter formation, designing colorful jewelry to build patterning skills, creating collages & sculptures that explore nature & science and more!
