You'll learn how to create striped hats and whiskers—so kids can pose as the Cat in the Hat, turn "Fox in Socks" into a fun rhyming game, and even create your own sweet version of green eggs and ham! It's the perfect workshop for learning to weave Dr. Seuss's stories into virtually every part of your curriculum!
2/17 - Everyone Has a Job To Do: Helpers in Our Community 6:00-7:00 p.m. & 7:30-8:30 p.m.
From doctors to firemen, bakers to veterinarians—kids love learning about the helpers in their communities! Come see how you can harness that excitement with cross-curricular activities that let kids take on the role of a community helper. From a surgeon who repairs broken words, to a fingerprint detective determined to solve a crime—these fun-filled activities will have kids asking for more!
3/10 - Healthier Me: The Importance of Nutrition & Exercise 6:00-7:00 p.m. & 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Teach kids to become the best version of themselves! Join us for an interactive workshop, where we'll dish out plenty of ways to integrate nutrition, exercise, & hygiene into multiple subjects—including language, math, science, arts & crafts and more!
