Lakeshore® Encourages Learning Through Play
with Summer Facebook Promotion
Snap, Post and “Like” for a Chance to Win a $1,000 E-Gift Card
CARSON, Calif.—(June 4, 2012)—Lakeshore Learning Materials, the nation’s leading retailer of educational products for children, invites parents to bring out their inner photographer in Lakeshore’s Summer Learning Photo Contest on Facebook. From now until June 30, parents can enter for a chance to win one of five $1,000 e-gift cards by submitting a picture of their little ones learning through play while on summer vacation.
“Summer is an important time to keep kids learning,” said Bo Kaplan, President and CEO of Lakeshore, “and we believe that children learn best when they’re having fun. That’s why we’re so excited to encourage everyone to share their summer learning adventures through this fun Facebook promotion.”
To enter to win, parents simply “Like” Lakeshore’s Facebook page, click on the entry form and submit a picture of their child participating in their favorite summer learning activity—from visits to the local zoo and nature walks to fun road trip activities. Then parents can spread the word and encourage friends and family to “Like” their submitted photo. The top photos with the most “Likes” win. Winners will be announced on July 2, and five lucky fans will be awarded with a $1,000 e-gift card, which they can use to stock up on Lakeshore’s hands-on learning games, educational software, books and everything they need to keep their little ones learning all summer long! Plus, everyone who enters will receive a special discount coupon as a thank-you for their participation.
Lakeshore’s Summer Learning Photo Contest on Facebook will run through June 30. For more information, visit www.LakeshoreLearning.com/SummerPhotoContest.
Plus, to further encourage summer learning, Lakeshore provides a wealth of free summer learning activities that parents can download. Parents can also visit one of Lakeshore’s 56 retail locations across the country every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Free Crafts for Kids.
