Children welcome spring by making a fun flip book of things that have to do with spring!

This activity is appropriate for:
pre-k - 2nd grade / 4 - 7 years

You will need:

Directions

Cut out the sunflower on the Sunflower Template.
Cut out the six circles on the Sunflower Template.
On each circle, draw a picture of something that has to do with spring (new plants, birds, baby animals, etc.).
Staple the six circles on top of each other on the center of the sunflower.
Show your flip book to your friends, and see what other spring ideas they drew!
Extension: For a greater challenge, write in each circle the name of something you see in the spring. You can have kids try to think of something that begins with each one of the letters in the word “spring” (for example: sunshine, pretty flowers, rainbows, insects, new leaves, green grass). “Flip up” each card to practice reading the words.
