T-Riffic Summer T-Shirts

Encourage students to share their summer adventures…with a colorful bulletin board project that involves the entire class!

This activity is appropriate for:
preschool - 3rd grade / 3 - 8 years

You will need:

Clothesline or yarn
Clothespins (two for each student)
Construction Paper - 9" x 12"
T-shirt Template
Markers, colored pencils or Lakeshore Standard Crayon Packs
Safety Scissors
Stapler or hot glue gun

Directions

Using the T-shirt Template, have children cut a T-shirt shape out of construction paper.
Provide students with markers, crayons or colored pencils, and ask them to write their names and decorate their shirts with summer images.
String the clothesline or yarn from one end of the bulletin board to the other, and secure it with a stapler or a hot glue gun. Make two rows of clothesline if necessary.
Fasten students’ completed T-shirts to the clothesline with clothespins.
You can use construction paper to make grass, sky, flowers or trees to complete the feel of a summer day.
