Silly Sock Beanbag Pal

Children recycle a sock into a fun beanbag!
This easy and engaging craft is appropriate for:
kindergarten - 2nd grade / 5 - 7 years
You will need:
- Old, clean sock
- Split peas, dried beans or rice
- Ribbon, string or Yarn Laces with Tips
- Wiggly Eyes (2 for each beanbag)
- Felt or Foam Sheets
- Safety Scissors
- Washable Broad-Tip Markers - Student Pack
- Help-Yourself Glue Tubes
Directions
- Fill the sock up to the heel with peas, beans or rice.
- Tie off the sock above the heel with yarn, ribbon or string, or knot the sock tightly just above the filler.
- To make the face, glue wiggly eyes onto the end of the beanbag. Cut out and glue on felt or foam pieces for the mouth, nose and eyebrows. You can also use a marker to draw a face on the beanbag.
- For hair, glue strings of yarn above the face.
- Your new beanbag pal is ready!
