This activity is appropriate for:
kindergarten - 4th grade / 5 - 9 years

You will need:

$100 Bill Template Reproducible
Extra writing paper

Directions

Give each student a copy of the $100 Bill Reproducible.
Ask students to brainstorm a list of what they could buy with $100. (You might be surprised at what kids think $100 can buy!)
Have students write and complete the following sentence on their paper: “If I had $100, I would buy __________.” (Younger children can draw pictures of what they would buy.)
If students are old enough, ask them to list and add up the cost of several items to see how they could use $100 to buy multiple items.
