Make each letter of the alphabet come to life with this creative and fun-to-make collage activity!

This activity is appropriate for:
kindergarten - 2nd grade / 5 - 7 years

You will need:

Posterboard or cardstock paper
Gently used magazines and/or newspapers
Lakeshore Glue Sticks
Safety Scissors
Markers or pencils

Directions

Have students choose a letter of the alphabet to draw on posterboard or cardstock paper. (Note: The size of the letter should be large enough for the student to decorate with magazine clippings.)
Help students cut out their letters. (Note: Some children may require more help with this step than others.)
Provide your students with old magazines and newspapers and encourage them to find pictures of things that begin with their letter.
Have students cut out the pictures and glue them to the letter to make a decorative and colorful collage!
