Recycle old gloves into cute spring critters with these easy-to-make finger puppets!

This activity is appropriate for:
preschool - 1st grade / 4 - 6 years

You will need:

Before you begin the project, create the bugs’ bodies by cutting the fingers off of several pairs of winter gloves.
Let students select a bug body to decorate, then provide them with decorating supplies, such as feathers, sequins, yarn, Wiggly Eyes and Pipe Stems for legs. Allow students to decorate as they desire.
After students have finished making their finger puppets, teach them this fun Bug Poem and have them act it out with their puppets!
