Directions
- Put a bag on each student’s desk. Encourage children to use the materials to write their name on and decorate their bag.
- Give students a list of items they should bring from home.
- Optional: bring in your own items from the list. This will help students understand the activity as well as help them get to know you better.
- Explain that they should take some time when they’re picking out the items because they will be sharing them with the class. Remind them that all the items must be able to fit in a simple paper bag.
- On the day students bring in their “all about me bag,” invite them to take turns sharing what’s in their bag.
