Mornings at Mommy School

I want my preschooler to retain what she learns throughout the year and continue to grow academically. To help achieve this, we have “Mommy School” every morning during her baby brother’s nap. Each day I review a different concept, giving my daughter a variety of activities focused on math, language arts, following directions, and science. One of her favorites is “Capture the Letter.” We use her cart to “capture” things in her playroom that start with a certain letter sound. The photo shows the loot my daughter captured on our recent lesson on the letter “C”. Caroline loves Mommy School and can’t wait to play games, learn shapes, and do the various activities I think up. She really enjoys the extra attention! Meanwhile, I love that she is keeping her mind active!
