Directions

1. Have your child roll a small lump of clay into a ball and glue on two wiggly eyes.
2. Provide your child with colored feathers, yarn, or other collage materials and some glue and have him decorate the buddy any way he likes!
3. Push one end of a pipe stem into the top of the ball of clay so that it is firmly attached. Then loop the other end through a backpack strap and twist it around itself to tie it securely. Your backpack buddy is ready to go to school!
