This colorful valentine caterpillar is sure to bring a smile!

This activity is appropriate for:
pre-k - 1st grade / 4 - 6 years

You will need:

Construction Paper - 9" x 12"
(Red, Pink & White)
Safety Scissors
Help-Yourself Glue Tubes
Markers, colored pencils, or crayons
9" x 12" paper
Wiggly Eyes
Pipe Stems

Directions

For each child, cut 6-10 hearts out of construction paper in different sizes and colors.
Place the hearts next to each other on a piece of 9" x 12" paper, in a caterpillar-shaped pattern.
Glue the hearts onto the paper.
Add eyes to the caterpillar using crayons, colored pencils, markers…or wiggly eyes, if you choose. Glue 2 short pipe stems on for antennae.
