ocean mural
Children bring a beautiful underwater scene to life as they create their own ocean mural.
This activity is appropriate for:
preschool-kindergarten / 3-5 years
You will need:
Directions
- Invite children to create a background for the mural by spraying watered-down tempera paint onto a large sheet of butcher paper. Set aside to dry.
- Use tissue paper to create seaweed.
- Using the Ocean Shapes Project Kit, encourage students to create an ocean creature.
- Help children mount their ocean creatures onto the mural.
- Display the mural on a classroom bulletin board.
