Children create dazzling underwater scenes using this fun, crayon-resist technique!

This activity is appropriate for:
kindergarten-3rd grade / 5-8 years

You will need:
• Construction Paper - 9" x 12"
• Best-Buy Crayons
• Jumbo Washable Watercolor Set
• Lakeshore Heavy-Duty Brushes
• Colored Shells
• Easy-Stick Glitter Shapes
• Best-Buy School Glue

Directions:
1.	Invite children to draw ocean scenes using Best-Buy Jumbo Crayons. Encourage them to press firmly with the crayons to create deep, rich colors.
2.	Have children paint over their pictures with blue watercolor.
3.	Set the pictures aside to dry.
4.	Encourage children to embellish their scenes with colored shells and easy-stick glitter shapes.
