stars & stripes place mat
This red, white, and blue place mat adds a fun, patriotic twist to mealtime!
This activity is appropriate for:
preschool - 3rd grade / 3 - 8 years
You will need:
Directions
- Have children use the blue ink pad to stamp their handprint in the upper left-hand corner of a sheet of white construction paper.
- Invite children to tear a sheet of red construction paper into strips. Glue these strips onto the white construction paper horizontally, like the stripes on the American flag.
- Using the star-shaped giant stamper, have children stamp blue stars onto the construction paper.
- To make sure that the place mat will last, laminate it.
