people shapes™ quilt

Create a decorative classroom quilt kids will love to display!

This activity is appropriate for:
preschool-3rd grade / 3-8 years

You will need:
• People Shapes™ Project Kit
• Construction Paper - 9" x 12"
• Best-Buy Washable Broad-Tip Markers
• Help-Yourself Ribbon & Yarn Boxes
• Hole punch

Directions:
1.	Using the collage materials from the project kit, encourage children to decorate a people shape in their likeness.
2.	Glue each child’s creation onto a sheet of construction paper, creating quilt squares.
3.	Write each child’s name on his/her quilt square.
4.	Punch holes into the corners of the quilt squares, and tie the squares together with yarn.
5.	Now you’re ready to display your classroom quilt!
