| Directions: |
| 1. |
Stuff the white paper bag with recycled newspaper. |
| 2. |
Cut the tissue paper into approximately 4"-wide strips (4" wide x 30" long). |
| 3. |
Choose 4 to 6 strips of different colored tissue paper. Cut the strips into fringe, leaving about 1" uncut at the top edge. |
| 4. |
Starting at the bottom of the paper bag, glue the strips around the bag so that each fringe comes down and covers the glued area of the previous strip. Layer the strips until the bag is covered. |
| 5. |
Cut tissue paper into approximately 1" squares. |
| 6. |
Glue the tissue paper squares onto the top half of the bag. Set aside to dry. |
| 7. |
Embellish the piñata with easy-stick glitter shapes. |
| 8. |
Punch 6 holes around the top of the bag, about 2" apart. Thread a piece of yarn through each hole, and secure the 2 ends together with a knot, leaving enough length to string beads. |
| 9. |
Add beads to the yarn and secure with a knot. |
