Paint the backside of a small paper plate with brown washable tempera paint. Set aside to dry. |

Paint the paper bowl green. Set aside to dry. |
| 3. |
Cut green tissue paper into 1" squares. |

Glue the green tissue paper squares to the bowl. Set aside to dry. |
| 5. |
Using the turtle template, trace and cut a head, tail and four legs out of green construction paper. |
| 6. |
Glue the head, tail and legs to the unpainted side of the paper plate. |
| 7. |
Glue the bowl to the paper plate. |
| 8. |
Add wiggly eyes and a smile using markers. |
| 9. |
Punch a hole in the tail of the turtle and display with yarn. |
