Kids design and build colorful rock creations with this delightful activity!
This activity is appropriate for:
preschool - 1st grade / 3 - 6 years
You will need:
Directions
- Have kids collect rocks that match the shape of common objects, such as cars, bugs, and animals.
- Remove any dirt from the rocks and instruct children to glue them together to build their own creations. Set aside to dry.
- When the glue is totally dry, have children paint the rocks in any way they please.
- Finally, allow children to use glitter, yarn, fabric, and tissue paper to accent their rock paintings.
