Kids get creative as they add their own special touches to Thanksgiving…with one-of-a-kind turkey handprints!
This activity is appropriate for:
preschool - kindergarten / 3 - 5 years
You will need:
Directions
- Paint the palm and thumb of a child’s hand with brown paint.
- Paint the fingers with a variety of colorful glitter paint.
- Help the child press his or her hand onto white construction paper, creating an outline of a turkey.
- Use markers to add feet, eyes, and a beak.
- Repeat the process a few times.
- Assist children in cutting out leaves from colorful construction paper for a festive finishing touch!
