fall critter collage

Create a cool collage that turns fallen leaves into crazy critters!
This activity is appropriate for:
pre-k - 2nd grade / 4 - 7 years
You will need:
Directions
- Collect leaves from your yard or a park.
- Glue several leaves to a sheet of paper.
- Use crayons, markers, and/or paint to draw faces, heads, or bodies onto the leaves—turning them into cute little animals!
- Add twigs, yarn, and other collage materials to complete your critters.
- Try using maple leaves to make butterfly wings, oval-shaped leaves to make turtle shells, and small leaves to make tiny insects!
